Twohig Funeral Home 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac, WI 54935 Phone 920-921-0960 Fax 920-921-0926 Lai Xiong, 60, of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, passed away on the 30th of December, 2011, at Froedtert Hospital. He was born to ChiaPao Xiong and Mai Vang on February 25th, 1951. From 1970 to 1975, he served in the U.S. Special Guerrilla Units (SGU) as a Second Lieutenant in the Vietnam War. After the war, he immigrated to the U.S. with his family in 1988. He is survived by his brothers Wakai Xiong and ChongChue Xiong; his wife and beloved Neng Thao Xiong; his son Kao Xiong and daughter-in-law Mai Ngia Vang and their children; his son Vang Pao Xiong and his children; his unmarried sons Xai Xiong and Dan Xiong; his daughter Maiso Lor and son-in-law Chenu Lor and their children; his daughter Amanda X. Yang and son-in-law NaoHoua Yang and their children; his unmarried daughters Va Xiong and Lyda Xiong. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends and colleagues who played very important roles in his life. Funeral service will be held at Twohig Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, and will be open 24-hours from the 13th of January, 2012 to the 16th of January, 2012.
