Sister Therese Merrick, SSSF, 83, passed away Thursday Jan. 12, 2012 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born on Sept. 28, 1928 in Kent Minnesota, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Nordick) Merrick. Sister joined the School Sisters of St. Francis in 1983 and served her community as a teacher at various community missions. Sister Therese is survived by her sister Sr. Genevieve Merrick, OSF of Hankinson, ND and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 29 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday Jan.18, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport.
