Shirley M. Emley, 83, of Adell passed away Tuesday Jan. 17, 2012 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. She was born on July 18, 1928 in the Town of Sherman the daughter of the late Emil and Eleanor (nee Konrad) Hinz. On Sept. 16, 1950 she married Vernon Emley at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell. Shirley worked at Vanderbuilt Egg Plant and then at Seeman-Schilling Grocery for many years. She also worked a short time at Krier Preserving and Canning and at Brown’s Floral. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Adell Homemakers. Shirley loved baking and had some special recipes that her family greatly enjoyed. Survivors include her daughter Pamela (Tony) Stoffel of Campbellsport, her granddaughters Angie (Joe) Law of White Bear Lake, MN, Kim (spec. friend Joe Meyer) Stoffel of Eden and Julie (Brian) Skelton of Campbellsport, her great grandsons Brendon and Nathan Skelton and Mathew Law, her brother Oliver (Beverly) Hinz of Adell, her sisters-in-law Phyllis Hinz of Fremont and Cordell Brueckbauer of Kohler, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon on Nov. 27, 1993 and her brother Vernon Hinz. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Jan 21st at 10:30 AM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell. Rev. Christopher Seifferlein will officiate and burial will follow in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday Jan. 21st from 9:00 AM until time of services. Memorials are appreciated to Emmanuel Lutheran Church or Adell First Responders and Fire Department.
