Ronald R. Schrauth, 52, of Campbellsport passed away after a two year battle with cancer Thursday Feb. 2, 2012 at his home with his family gathered around him. He was born on Dec. 18, 1959 in Fond du Lac, the son of Elroy and Betty (nee Volm) Schrauth. Ron worked as a carpenter for his brother Steve and then with the Carpenter’s Union in Milwaukee. In recent years he worked for Tom’s Millwork in Ashford. Ron loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed all sports especially the Packers. He also had a need for speed and raced cars for several years. He played in a number of pool leagues and in his younger years played baseball and softball. Survivors include his daughter Renee of Campbellsport, his mother Betty of Campbellsport, his brothers Dan (Mary), Steve (Jackie) and Jim (Sally) all of Campbellsport, his sister Joann (Dennis) Herriges of Kewaskum, his ex wife Robin Schrauth of Campbellsport, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Elroy, his nephew Jeff Schrauth and his cousin Dave “Poncho” Boegel. Visitation will be Wednesday Feb. 8th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. Funeral services will be Wednesday Feb. 8th at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and entombment will be Friday at 10:00 AM in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac.
