Carol Jean Burnett, 72, of Fond du Lac passed away Thursday Feb. 23, 2012 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born in Fond du Lac on July 19, 1939 the daughter of Archie and Esther (nee March) Burnett. Carol went to Jefferson and Elizabeth Waters Schools and also attended Goodrich High School. She worked at Workshops Incorporated for many years. Survivors include her brother David Burnett of Fond du Lac, her sister Clarice Steinke of Plymouth, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Leo Dunton and Robert Wesley and her sister Lois Kimpel. Visitation will be Wednesday Feb. 29th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be Wednesday Feb. 29th at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Jim Martin will officiate and burial will be Friday in Rienzi Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to Arthritis Foundation or the Hospice Home of Hope.
