Augusta Mae Engelmann

June 8, 1923 — March 25, 2012

Augusta “Mae” Engelmann, 88, of Campbellsport died peacefully on Sunday March 25, 2012 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born in the Town of Auburn on June 8, 1923 the daughter of Charles and Elise (Strege) Tuttle. On Nov. 2, 1941, she married Adolph A. Engelmann at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee. Mae was employed at Gilbert Shoe Co. for 19 years and Regalware for 12 years until her retirement in 1988. She was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Campbellsport, the Dorcas Society and the Campbellsport Senior Citizens. She enjoyed playing cards, baking, crocheting, puzzles, stitchery, family picnics and vacations. She also enjoyed and loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Survivors include her daughters Alice Oelhafen of West Bend, Karen (Robert) Kamasky of New London, Judy (John) Rabiola of Janesville and Linda (Randal) Cundy of West Bend, eight grandchildren Scott (Angie) Wegner of Berlin, Randy (Patti) Wegner of Oshkosh, Christine Boehning of Oshkosh, Arthur Gunderson of West Bend, James (Shelly) Rabiola of Lawrenceville, GA, Jeffery Rabiola of Monroe, GA, Rebecca Farrell of Chicago, IL and Jason Farrell of Oshkosh, four step grandchildren Christina Cundy of Oshkosh, Rhonda (James) Veile of Oshkosh, Amy (Aaron) Schuh of DePere and Jaimie (John) Roland of Westmont, IL, eight great grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, one brother Francis (Pearl) Tuttle of Campbellsport, one sister-in-law Lorena Tuttle, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Elise, her husband Adolph on Aug. 28, 1988, her grandson Alan Gunderson, a son-in-law Robert Oelhafen, two sisters Catherine (Ervin) Mielke and Opal Tuttle, three brothers Elwyn, Gary and Edward Tuttle and one sister-in-law Bernice Tuttle. Visitation will be Wednesday March 28th from 12:00 PM until time of services at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 350 S. Helena St. Campbellsport. Memorials are appreciated to Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 28, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev. Paul Cerny will officiate and burial will follow in Union Cemetery Campbellsport.
