Lucille A. Odekirk, 91, of Campbellsport passed away Tuesday April 10, 2012 at the Hospice Home of Hope with her beloved family gathered around her. She was born in Campbellsport on March 21, 1921, the daughter of the late Thomas and Olive Gremminger Dieringer. On Feb. 3, 1940, Lucille married Donald R. Odekirk at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.She loved gardening, crocheting and reading Louis LaMour Westerns. She farmed with her husband for 57 years in the Town of Eden and then lived with her daughter and son-in-law. Survivors include her daughter Linda (Duane) Pieper, son Thomas (Sandra) Odekirk, her daughter-in-law Sandra L. Odekirk, her former daughter-in-law Frances Odekirk her grandchildren Lori (special friend Greg Mohr) Odekirk, Alan Odekirk, Thomas (Melissa) Pieper, Travis (special friend Candy Bailey) Pieper and Trisha (special friend Bearly Love) Pieper, her great grandchildren Kayla, Megan, Mallory, Jordan, Amber, Isabel, Nicholas and Shayla, her step great grandchildren Shane, Jerimiah, Dominic, Samantha (Eric), Kristina and Lydia, her sisters Phyllis Stemper of Fredonia and Betty Grant of Cartersville, GA, her brothers Andrew (Audrey) Dieringer , Adolph Dieringer all of Port Washington, Thomas (Barbara) Dieringer of Belgium, Francis (Patricia) Dieringer of Hartford and James (Laynelle) Dieringer of Fredonia, her brother-in-law Eldon (Jennifer) Odekirk of Fond du Lac, her sisters-in-law Betty Odekirk of Fond du Lac and Audrey Heruth of Oshkosh, nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Odekirk, her son Donald J. Odekirk., her brother Gregor Dieringer, her sister-in-law Jean Dieringer, her brothers-in-law Peter Grant, Edward Stemper, Les Hermuth and Lowell Odekirk and her nephew Robert Dieringer. Visitation will be Sunday April 15th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 1909 W. Main St. Campbellsport and on Monday April 16th from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church 606 Forest Ave. Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 16th at 11:30 AM at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. Rev.John Boggs will officiate and inurnment will be at a later date in Odekirk Cemetery in the Town of Eden. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Redeemer Lutheran School or the Hospice Home of Hope.
