Mary E. Giese of Fond du Lac passed away Sunday June 10, 2012 at her home. She was born on Dec. 17, 1925 in Barton, the daughter of the late George and Frances (nee Scharer) Winckler, Sr. On July 16, 1949, Mary married Donald E. Giese at St. Mary’s Church in Barton. They farmed together in the Town of Osceola. She also worked at Regalware in Kewaskum and then was a custodian for the Campbellsport Public Schools before retiring. Mary enjoyed playing bingo with her sister Katie, cooking and baking for her family and for family gatherings, polka and country music but most of all spending time with her family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her sons Ronald of West Bend, John of Oshkosh and Dale (Shirley) of Campbellsport, her daughter Jo Ann (Tim) Giese Kent of Glenbeulah, her grandchildren Todd (Cindy) Giese, Candice (Michael) Mc Farlane, Jessica (Lucas) Wanner, Bridget (fiancé Andy) Schrank, Brandon (Krystal) Giese, Jeremy Giese and Ashlee Kent, her great grandchildren Jacob, Tiffany, Skye, Madison, Starr, Wyatt, Tyler and Peyton, her sister Kathleen (Ralph) Sennhenn of Beaver Dam, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Don on February 4, 1998, her daughter Ann Marie, her son Thomas, her brothers George Jr., Fritz, Edward and Robert and her sister Maggie. Visitation will be Friday, June 15th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. Funeral services will be Friday, June 15th at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow with inurnment in St. Matthew’s Cemetery on Sunday, June 17th.
