Mark Claude McEnroe, 46, of Oshkosh, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 19, 2012. He was born on January 29, 1966, in Fond du Lac, the son of John and Ruth Wimberger McEnroe. He graduated in 1984 from the Rhinelander High School and attended Fox Valley Technical College. On May 1, 1993, he married Kathryn Wanserski at St. John’s Catholic Church in Menasha. Mark worked in sales for Lonza Chemicals. Mark was a member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh. Mark’s greatest accomplishment was his children and he was most proud of his children’s academic and athletic achievements. Mark was a sports enthusiast serving as a youth coach for little league, basketball and football and he enjoyed playing softball, golf, fishing, snowmobiling and hunting. He loved northern Wisconsin and greatly enjoyed the time spent with his family. His great sense of humor will always be remembered. Mark was a Godfather and confirmation sponsor for many in his family. He also enjoyed his private times in church. Survivors include his wife Kathy, his daughter Amanda and his son Andrew both at home, his parents John and Ruth of Lac du Flambeau, his sisters: Mary Joan (Brad) McEnroe-Kuhnert of Poplar and Lori (Steve) Schroeder of Merrill ,his brother Sean (Darcy)McEnroe of Lac du Flambeau, his sister-in-laws: Julie(Guy) Romagnoli of Jackson, Patti (Bernie) Sandin of Menasha and Bets (Ken) Glisczinski of Menasha, his brother-in-law Dave (Julie) Wanserski of Menasha, his nieces, nephews: Heather, Hope, Jessica, Sarah, Abigail, Ryan, Madeline, Gina, Brian, Nicole, Katie, Jenni, and Aaron and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law Alvina and Ervin Wanserski his sister-in-law Mary Ellen, and his grandparents: Claude and Gertrude Wimberger and Lawrence and Florence McEnroe. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 24th, at 6:00 PM at St. Raphael Catholic Church 830 S. Westhaven Drive, Oshkosh, with Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. The visitation will be on Tuesday at the church from 2:00 PM until the time of the mass. Memorials may be directed to the children’s college funds.
