Mary M. Buell Johnson, 61, of Fond du Lac passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at her home. She was born in Fond du Lac on June 1, 1951 the daughter of Wilbur and Margaret Goebel Buell. She graduated from St. Mary’s School, St. Mary’s Springs, Wisconsin Teacher’s College and Marian University. She was a Music and Education Teacher at the Elementary level and she had a piano studio in her home. She was a member of Community Church and the Fond du Lac Music Teacher’s Association. She served as her mother’s caregiver for the last six years of her mother’s life. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie (Craig) Mason of Tolleson, AZ, her siblings: Ann Buell, Kathy (Bob) Sinotte both of Fond du Lac and John (Chris) Buell of Green Bay and her nieces and nephews: Holly, Shaun, Tyler, and Breanna Sinotte, and Stephen, Kevin and Rebecca Buell, her former husband Duane (Judith) Johnson of Burnett and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Community Church N6717 Streblow Drive, Fond du Lac with the Rev. Ken Nabi officiating. The family will receive guests on Thursday from 4PM until the time of the services at the church. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Community Church. The Twohig Funeral Home of Fond du Lac is assisting the family with the arrangements.
