Sister Antoinette Hockerts, SSSF, 88, passed away Tuesday Sept.4, 2012 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born on Jan. 7, 1924 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late John and Mary Hutton Hockerts. Sister joined the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 13, 1941 and professed her vows on June 21, 1943. Sister served her community as a teacher, a principal and a vocational director at various community missions. Sister Antoinette is survived by her niece and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 71 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday Sept. 10, 2012 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport. Visitation and wake service will begin at 10:00 AM Monday Sept. 10th at St. Joseph Convent.
