Sister Mary Ann Tauber, SSSF, “Sister Anthony Mary”, 81, passed away Saturday Sept. 8, 2012 at St. Joseph Convent, Campbellsport. She was born on July 2, 1931 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of the late William and Grace Fletcher Tauber. On June 13, 1950, sister joined the School Sisters of St. Francis and professed her vows on June 21, 1952. Sister Mary Ann served her community as a teacher, principal and librarian at various community missions. Sister Mary Ann is survived by her bother Richard Tauber, nieces, nephews and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 62 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday Sept. 14, 2012 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport. Visitation and wake service will begin at 10:00 AM Friday Sept. 14th at St. Joseph Convent.
