Joyce I. Schultz formerly of Brownsville age 88 died Sept. 30, 2012 at the Grancare Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on June 24, 1924 in Melbourne, Australia, the eldest daughter of the late William and Lillie Pascoe Griffiths. Joyce emigrated to the U.S. late in 1946. On Feb. 8, 1947 she married Norbert Schultz at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Brownsville. He preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 2005. Joyce was a member at Redeemer Lutheran Church, the Fond du Lac Senior Center and the American Legion Post 347 Auxiliary of Lomira. Joyce enjoyed bowling-Wii, line dancing, sheepshead, knitting and loved to be with her family. Survivors include two sons: Carl Schultz of Watertown and Paul (Brenda) Schultz of Lomira; four daughters: Christine (David) Lohse of Fond du Lac, Sandra (James) Clemmerson of Tomah, Diane (Harry) Christensen of Bozeman, MT and Yvonne (Mark) Putz of Waupun, 17 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Norbert, one son Daniel, two grandchildren, daughter-in-law Rosanne Schultz, one sister Moya Bradfield and two brothers: Thomas and Brian Griffiths. Funeral Services will be held Wed. Oct. 3, 2012 at 11:30 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 606 Forest Avenue, Fond du lac with Rev. James Borgwardt officiating with burial to follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Brownsville. Friends may call on Wed. at the church from 10AM until 11:30 AM.
