Judith “Judy” Ekholm-Ohlsson, 64, of Campbellsport passed away Sunday Sept. 30, 2012. She was born on Dec. 21, 1947 in Ashland the daughter of Clarence and Gladys Halvorsen Ekholm. In 1988, Judy married Clint Ohlsson in Ashland. He preceded her in death in Nov. of 1991. Judy was a caregiver working in nursing homes in the Ashland area, and doing private home care. She enjoyed doing foster care, her pets, tech school, reading and knitting. She move to Campbellsport in 2008 to live with her sister and was a member of the First Methodist Church in Campbellsport. Survivors include her sons Scott (Amy) Steinmetz of Oshkosh and Chad Resch of Appleton, her grandchildren Sydney and Sophie, her sister Shelby Hartung of Campbellsport, her nieces and nephews Kelly and Scott Nitsche and their sons Bo and Bryce of Germantown and Jamie and Mark Birschbach and their children Paige, Brooke and Trey of Eden, other relatives and friends. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and three sons Todd, Ryan and Rob. Funeral services will be held on Wed. Oct 3rd at 6:00 PM at the First Methodist Church in Campbellsport. Rev. Roger Clapp will officiate and entombment will be Thurs. Oct. 4th at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac. Visitation will be Wed. Oct. 3rd from 4:00 PM until time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the First Methodist Church, Heartland Hospice or the Humane Society.
