Sister Sylvia Billquist, SSSF, “Sister Aurosa”, 80, passed away Sunday Oct. 7, 2012 at St. Joseph Convent, Campbellsport. She was born on Feb. 25, 1932 in Hinsdale, Illinois, the daughter of the late Arthur and Rose Ann Piper Billquist. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis and served her community as a teacher at a number of locations including many years in the Plymouth area. Sister Sylvia is survived by her brothers Robert Billquist and Peter Billquist, her sister Anita Kick and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 63 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday Oct. 11, 2012 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport. Visitation and wake service will begin at 10:00 AM Thursday Oct. 11th at St. Joseph Convent.
