Jeanette Helen Friedel On Thursday November 15th Jeanette Helen Dill-Friebel a resident of Westnor Apartments of Fond du Lac went to be with our Lord after a short illness at St. Agnes Hospital. Jeanette was born the daughter of Allan and Viola (Kanter) Krueger on the Family Farm in Potters, Wisconsin on June 9, 1922. Having attended various Grade Schools in childhood she also attended Campbellsport High School. Jeanette Graduated from the Milwaukee Secretarial College and spent more than 50 years working for various employers in Milwaukee WI, one of them being the Oster Company. In her later years Jeanette suffered from Macular Degeneration and lost her sight. She moved to Fond du Lac WI where she could be assisted by her family in living independently until her death at 90 years of age. Jan is survived by two brothers Gerald (Carolyn) Krueger, James (Janet) Krueger, and four sisters Gwen Guell, Lola-Ann Patterson, Sandra (Deems) Pelishek, Charlotte Keating, and sister-in-law Kathryn Krueger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephew; one special niece Penny (Richard) Geiger. Jan was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Russell Krueger, and Allan Krueger, three sisters Cynthia Maedtke, Aline Krueger, and Marlene McBride. In keeping with Jan’s wishes a closed casket visitation and services to celebrate Jeanette’s Life will take place at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac, on Sunday Nov. 18th starting at 1:00 PM with the services at 1:30 PM. Entombment will be Monday at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac. Memorial Gifts will be given in Jeanette’s Name to the Fondy Food Pantry.
