Cecilia E. A. Ketter, 81, of Eden went to her heavenly home on Wednesday January 23, 2013 with her family gathered at her side. She was born in Sheboygan on Sept. 27, 1931, the daughter of Henry and Ruth Immel Waldschmidt. Cecilia graduated from Campbellsport High School and worked as a switchboard operator in Campbellsport. On June 16, 1951, Cecilia married Elwyn A. Ketter at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Campbellsport. In 1954 they purchased their family farm in the Town of Eden. She was proud to be a farmer’s daughter, wife and mother. Cecilia was very loving, supportive, intelligent, spirited, and an outgoing person who made an impact on the lives of people who knew her. She showed great interest and enthusiasm for her family’s life history Those Cecilia leaves behind to cherish her memory include her children Chuck (Ginny) Ketter of Eden, Cheryl (John) Kissack of Whitewood, SD, Betz (Leon) Dulak of Mosinee, Carl (special friend Connie Weiland) Ketter of Campbellsport, Connie (Steven) Sopel of Neenah, and Kay (Jeff) Urban of Fond du Lac, her grandchildren Christa (Aaron) Priepke, Johnny Kissack, Scott and Kayce Ketter, Heather and Austin Sopel, and Jake and Jennifer Urban, her great grandchildren Cullen and Carson Priepke, her step-grandchildren Molly Dulak and Leon Dulak, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joan Petersen, Walter and Rose Ketter, Alice Ketter, and Duane and Peggy Ketter, her aunt Lorraine Waldschmidt, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Elwyn on Jan 3, 1999, her sister Carolyn Waldschmidt on July 15, 1995, and her brothers-in-law Erwin, Elton and Loren Ketter. Visitation will be Sunday Jan. 27th from 2:00 PM until time of services at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. Services will be at 6:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home with family committal services and entombment on Monday at the Shrine Rest Mausoleum in Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac. Memorials may be directed to Agnesian Hospice Hope.
