Agnes C. Johnson, 95, formerly of Campbellsport passed away Thursday Feb. 28, 2013 at Kettle Moraine Gardens in Kewaskum. She was born on Sept. 9, 1917 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine Delfeld Betz. On July 1, 1939, Agnes married Thomas I. Johnson at St. John’s Church, Byron. She worked for Gilbert Shoe Co. and Reliable Knitting both in Campbellsport before retiring. Agnes enjoyed playing cards, bowling and spending time with her family. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughters Janet Jaeger and Karen (Bill) Grahl both of Kewaskum, her son Patrick (Sue) Johnson of Campbellsport, her sister Eunice Huck of Fond du Lac, her grandchildren Jeff Jaeger, Allan (Char) Jaeger, Cheryl Jaeger, Amy (Rod) Donnelly, Laurie (John) Melzer, Carrie (Mike) Struebing, Terri (Aaron) Morrison, Dawn (Todd) Wittig, and Craig (Angie) Johnson, fourteen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Tom on Mar. 20, 1991, her son-in-law Tom Jaeger, her brothers Ray, Wally and Adrian Betz and her sister Rose Cruezer Visitation will be Saturday March 2nd from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Campbellsport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM at the church. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and entombment will be Monday in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
