DuWayne S. Mielke, 64, of Eden passed away unexpectantly in Fond du Lac on Friday May 3, 2013. He was born on Sept. 1, 1948 the son of Harris and Bernice Mielke. DuWayne is survived by 4 brothers and 3 sisters: Ron (Cookie) Mielke and family of Fond du Lac, Dale Mielke of Fond du Lac, Robert and Normie Mielke of Dotyville, Linda Mielke of Fond du Lac, Mary (Dan) Hintz and family of Houston, TX and Beverly Spanbauer of Dotyville, along with 14 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, nieces and nephews-in-law, cousins, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew Scott Mielke and a niece Tracey Mielke. DuWayne enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, working on the farm, playing family baseball games, and was a fulltime watcher of wrestling. He most of all enjoyed spending time with close friends and family. He will be missed by all. His family nicknames were “Fire Bug” and “Rock”. Visitation will be Wed. May 8th, 2013 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church gymnasium (W2090 Hwy 23, Mt. Calvary) from 5:30 PM until a memorial service at 7:00 PM to be held in the church with Rev. Mark Barenz officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
