Jean E Miller, age 85, of Fond du Lac died on Friday May 17, 2013 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born on April 4, 1928 in Fond du Lac the daughter of the late Valentine and Estelle Grabinski Putz. She graduated in 1946 from Fond du Lac Senior High School. She married Kenneth G. Miller on April 23, 1949 in Fond du Lac. Jean loved to garden, cook and dance with Ken. She was a Packer fan and enjoyed playing rummy. She loved animals. Jean is survived by her husband Ken, three sons: Steve (Desmond Lim) Miller of Tuscaloosa, AL, Todd (Mary) of Fond du Lac and Jim (Jenny) Miller of Chicago, IL, two daughters: Deborah (Peter) Doll of Fond du Lac and Julie (Gregory) Hansen of McFarland, one sister Valerie Fitzgerald of East Troy, 8 grandchildren: Jeny (Dan) Memmel, Amy (Erik) Loy, Michael (Holly) Doll, Stacy (Denver) Leitheiser, Michael Miller,Stacia Miller, Peyton Miller and Reid Miller, 6 great grandchildren, 2 brother-in-laws: Carl (Edith) Miller of AK and Ray Miller of Fond du Lac and her beloved cat “Kitty” and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters: Suzanne Higgenbothom and Dorothy Bauer and one brother-in-law Gerald Miller. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 21st at 11:00 AM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00AM at the funeral home with committal at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac. Memorials appreciated to the Hospice Home of Hope.
