Sister Marion James, SSSF, “Sister Finnbarr”, 98, passed away Thursday July 25, 2013 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born on May 17, 1915 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late William and Marie Ruttkowski James. Sister joined the School sisters of St. Francis on June 14, 1932 and professed her vows on Aug. 19, 1936. Sister Marion served her community as a teacher at various community missions. Sister Marion is survived by her nieces and nephews, and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 81 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday Aug. 1st at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport. Visitation and wake service will begin at 9:00 AM Thursday Aug. 1st at St. Joseph Convent.
