Joanne R. Leonhardt, 75, died Wed. Oct. 2, 2013 at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born Aug. 31, 1938 in Sheboygan, WI the daughter of the late Lorron and Josephine Lawrence Friedrichs. On August 1, 1970 she married Robert F, Leonhardt at the Church of Peace. She donated time at the Humane Society in Sheboygan and the Mental Health Center in Fond du Lac. Survivors include five children: Nadine (Wayne) Blatz, Wendy Wegner (special friend Ted Freismuth), Anita (Ron) Stageman, Todd Buelow all of Fond du Lac, and Brenda Cordes(fiancé Richard Biwan) of Sheboygan, two grandchildren: Tabatha and Shane and three great grandchildren: Alexis, Calley and Mya and one brother Wayne (Nancy) Friedrichs of MA and one sister Joyce (David) Goelzer of Sheboygan Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, 1 brother Dennis Derlein and 1 sister Della Derlein. Memorial services will be held on Monday October 7, 2013 at 3PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery Chapel at 6706 Superior Avenue in Sheboygan. Friends may call from 2PM until the time of the service at the cemetery Chapel. The family would like to give thanks to the staff and volunteers with Hospice Home of Hope.
