Donna Mae Lavrenz, 67, of Fond du Lac went to her heavenly home on Sun. Oct, 13, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Plymouth, WI on Oct. 1, 1946 the daughter of the late Gordon and Mary Schramek Ladwig. She graduated in 1964 from St. Mary's Springs Academy. On August 29, 1964 she married Darwin Lavrenz at St. John's Catholic Church in Plymouth. Donna was a wonderful, kind, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved cooking, baking, gardening, sewing and crafts. Survivors include her husband Darwin, two daughters: Deanna "Dea" (John) Zettler and Dawn (Walter) Knifke both of Fond du Lac, four grandchildren: Jessie, Joshua, Sarah and Eddie, 3 great grandchildren: Nora, Emma and Peyton and 3 pet cats: Patches, SamyJo and Dusty, one brother Anthony (Jennifer) Sartori of Appleton and 8 sisters: Kay (Jerry) Holbrook of Sibley, IA, Vida (Bob) Willins of Manitowoc, Marsha (Tom) Doble of Manassas, VA, Beth (Tony) Schultz of Plymouth, Ann (Walter) Buss of Plymouth, Mary (Michael) Counter of Appleton, Laura Schmidt of Spring Green, and Lisa (Kevin) Bigsby of Johnson Creek and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her father Gordon Ladwig, mother Mary "Midge" Ladwig Sartori, step father Guido B. Sartori, one brother Louis (Carol) Sartori and son-in-law Tony Uttendorfer. Funeral Services will be Friday Oct. 18th at 7PM at the Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends on Fri.
