Sister Remi Lauer, SSSF, 88, passed away on Sunday Nov. 3, 2013 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born on Feb. 12, 1925 in Stone Lake, the daughter of the late Edward and Bernadette (nee Montpetit) Lauer. She joined the School Sister of St. Francis on June 13, 1925 and professed her vows on June 21, 1944. Sister served as a homemaker at various community missions Sister Remi is survived by her sister Vera Donatell, her nieces and nephews, and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 71 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thurs. Nov. 7th at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport. Visitation and wake service will begin at 9:00 AM Thur. Nov. 7th at St. Joseph Convent.
