Susan Louise Stern, 60, of Waupun passed away peacefully on November 7, 2013 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. A loving and supportive soul has left this world prematurely. Her outgoing spirit, generous nature and wry sense of humor will provide many tender and lasting memories. Susie's love of camping and the outdoors (enhanced by many summers at Girl Scout Camp) has been passed along to her children and grandchildren. Many smiles, tears and stories will be shared around future campfires as they roast wienies and marshmallows and think of her. Susan is survived by her children Katherine Grice and Curtis Grice both of Fond du Lac and five grandchildren-Galen, Cayden, Aislin, Taryn and Toney. She is further survived by her mother Bertina Stern, siblings, Patricia (Jeff) Guidinger, Gail (Tim) Brooks, Cynthia (Dennis) Schultz, Diane Somers and Joseph P. Stern as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. Preceding her in death were her father Joseph H. Stern and sisters Mary Brooks and JoAnn Stern. A private celebration of her life will be held. In accordance with her wishes, Susan was cremated. Memorials may be directed to her children, Hospice Home of Hope or the American Cancer Society.
