Edson I. Graves, Sr. 85, of Campbellsport passed away Monday Nov. 18, 2013 at Ivy Manor Assisted Living Center in Campbellsport. He was born on Jan. 14, 1928 in Enid, OK, the son of the late Forest and Minnie (nee Votaw) Graves. On Sept. 3, 1955, Edson married Beverly Kranendonk in Elcho, NV. Edson worked in the broom manufacturing industry with his last job being with Elwing Broom Factory in Campbellsport before retiring. He served in the Army National Guard in Salt Lake City, UT. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife Beverly, his three sons Greg Graves of Greenup, Illinois, Steven Graves and Lindley Graves, both of Fond du Lac, his daughter Marlene Thomas of Gainesville, FL, his very special grandson Owen Thomas of Gainesville, his sister Evelyn Tidwell of Memphis, TN, and other relatives and friends. Edson was preceded in death by his sons Edson, Jr and Gerrit, his son-in-law Garland "Bud" Thomas, his brothers Morris, Ivan, Dean and Marvin and two infant sisters. A memorial service will be held on Sat. Nov. 23, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 347 N. Country Lane, Fond du Lac.
