Robert L. "Bob" Paul, 86, passed away Friday Jan. 3, 2014 at Woodlands Senior Park in Fond du Lac where he has been a resident. He was born in Door County on Oct. 1, 1927, the son of the late Rudolph and Anna (nee Annoye) Paul. Bob served in the U.S. Army during WW II and the Korean War. He worked as a carpenter before starting Robert Paul Millright Services in the 1960's which he operated for over 25 years. He enjoyed playing sheepshead, gardening, canning, making chili, and frying steaks in his cast iron skillet. Survivors include his children Janet (Kim) Bergsbaken, Barbara (Dale) Schreiber, Debbie Iverson, Robert Jr., Rudy (Carol), Rod (Kasey), Robin Stocker, and Rusty (Cathy), his 22 grandchildren, his 20 great grandchildren, his sister Jan (John) Zarling, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Mouse Stocker, his daughter-in-law Christina Paul, his brothers Rudolph, Leslie, Allan, and Donald, his sister Alice Boisen and his infant brothers Sammy and Leo. Funeral services will be held on Thursday Jan 9, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport, officiant Rev. Greg Nuemberg, with military services to follow.
