Sister Cabrini Diez, SSSF, 96, passed away Saturday, Jan.4, 2014, at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born in Verdigree, NE on Feb. 14, 1917, the daughter of the late Carl N. and Mary (nee Rodgers) Diez. Sister joined the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 13, 1944 and professed her vows on June 21, 1946. Sister Cabrina served her community as a X-ray technician At various community missions. Sister Cabrini is survived by her sisters Adele Fargen and Marguerite Blaine, her nieces and nephews, and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 69 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed. Jan. 8th, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will follow in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport. Visitation and wake service will begin at 9:00 AM Wed. Jan. 8th at St. Joseph Convent.
