Brigitte H. Fitt, age 74 passed away peacefully at home in Fox Lake on Monday Jan. 27, 2014. She was born on November 28, 1939 the daughter of Kurt and Helga Lemberg in Germany. Brigitte came to America in 1960 and was a nanny to the Firestone Family. For many years she worked for Koening-Noggle International Imports/Exports in Chicago. She loved to travel, read and volunteered with the Madison Scouts drum and bugle corp. Brigitte is survived by her son Peter (special friend Sue Krauser) Fitt of Mt. Prospect, Il one sister and many friends Per her request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will held at a later date. Twohig Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, is serving the family.
