Sister Irene Laible, SSSF, "Sister Raynardus", 94, passed away Sat. Feb. 8, 2014 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born on June 28, 1919 in Atkinson, NE the daughter of the late John and Mary (nee Kohle) Laible. Sister Irene joined the School Sisters of St. Francis in 1936 and professed her vows in 1938 Sister Irene is survived by her brothers Louis Laible of Atkinson, NE and Leo Laible of O'Neill, NE, her sisters Theresa Krysl of Atkinso, NE and Rita Gettert of Crawford, NE, her nieces and nephews, and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 77 years. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tues. Feb. 11th at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Atkinson, NE. Visitation and wake service will begin at 8:30 AM Tues. Feb. 11th at St. Joseph Convent.
