Geraldine L. Mamerow, 87 of Fond du Lac died Friday Mar. 28, 2014 at Grancare Rehab Center. She was born in Milwaukee on April 21, 1926 the daughter of Thomas and Cecilia Grettenger Clark. She married Robert Mamerow on April 3, 1948 at St. John's Catholic Church in South Milwaukee. Geraldine was proud to be a farmer's wife in the Oakfield area. During her working years she was a Teacher and then worked at Grande Cheese, Culver's in Waupun and Fond du Lac. She loved spending time with her family especially the grandchildren. She played sheepshead, cribbage and enjoyed watching the Packers, the Brewers and the the former Braves. Survivors include her 3 daughters: Marie Engman of North Fond du Lac, Carol (Stuart) Joas of Oakfield, Ann (Gary) TerBeest of Brandon, 3 sons: Paul (Mary) Mamerow, James (Glenda) Mamerow both of Berlin and Mark (Kathy) Mamerow of Waupun, 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, 3 brothers: James (Gemma) Clark of FL, Michael (Darnell) Clark of PA, and Timothy (Judy) Clark of MI, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert on Dec. 20, 2007 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday April 2 at 7:00 PM at Son of Zebedee St. James Church, 101 N. Main St. Oakfield. Rev. Michael Petersen will officiate and burial will be at Avoca Cemetery in Oakfield. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM until time of mass at the church.
