Mary C. Peissig, 63, of Fond du Lac passed away surrounded by her family on Mon. Mar. 31, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital. Mary was born on July 28, 1950 in Wisconsin Rapids to Leonard and Catherine Burke Swiggum. She was united in marriage to Darrell Peissig on April 13, 1976 in Fond du Lac. She worked in customer service at Purina Mills until her retirement. She was also well known for her Grandma Mary's soap. She is survived by her husband Darrell of Fond du Lac, children: Joe (April) Peissig of Two Rivers, Barry Peissig of Medford, Kristen Peissig (fiancé David) of Stetsonville, one daughter-in-law Jodie Erdman of North Fond du Lac, one sister Diane Swiggum of Wisconsin Rapids, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren many nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Jay Erdman. Following Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life luncheon/fellowship will be held from 10AM until 2PM on Sunday April 6th, 2014 at the North Fond du Lac Commumity Center at 280 Garfield Street, North Fond du Lac.
