Sister Marietta Greiner, SSSF, 86, passed away Monday May 5, 2014 at St. Joseph Convent in Campbellsport. She was born on Oct. 16, 1927 in Keota, Iowa, the daughter of the late Charles and Clara Hammes Greiner. She joined the School Sisters of St. Francis on June 13, 1946 and professed her vows on June 21, 1948. Sister Marietta served her community as a teacher and a nursing assistant at various community missions. Sister Marietta is survived by her brother Wilford Greiner of Washington, Iowa, her nieces and nephews, and the School Sisters of St. Francis Community with whom she shared her life for 68 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tues. May 13th at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Convent, 526 Mill St. Campbellsport. Burial will be in Sisters Cemetery, Campbellsport. Visitation and wake service will begin at 9:00 AM Tues. May 13th at St. Joseph Convent.
