Michael G. Gobrial, 34, of Fond du Lac, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at his home in Fond du Lac surrounded by his family. He was born on May 18, 1979, in Cairo, Egypt the son of Gobrial and Anesa A. Tadros Gobrial. He attended UW Madison for two years and then graduated from UW Fond du Lac with a degree in Business. He was a former member of the Assembly of God and currently attended the Lighthouse Christian Church. He enjoyed football, basketball, music and had a beautiful collection of candles. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his parents, one brother Mark (Beth) Gobrial of Germantown, one niece Naomi Gobrial and one nephew Ezra Gobrial, Uncles and Aunts: Kamal (Dr. Margaret) Gobrial, Kamilia Shenoda, Nashaat (Samia) Hakeem, Aziz (Mervat) Ghaly, Victor (Manal) Jabrial, Madhat (Mervat) Gobrial, Aida Mityas, Louiza Habashy, cousins: Joseph Shenoda, Fathy and Germin Shenoda, John and Remonda Shenoda, Shereen Zachary, Hanan Habshy, Ehab Habashy, Dr. Christine Gobrial, David and Simon Gobrial, Peter Hakeem, Andrew and Madonna Hakeem, Youssef and Monika Ghaly, Sandra Ghaly, Sherif Mityas, Sherene Jagla, Phillip and Stephanie Jabrial and Emanuel and Benjamin Gobrial and many second cousins and other relatives and friends in the US and Egypt. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and three uncles Samuel Shenoda, Joseph Mityas and Wafik Habashy. Funeral will be Thursday May 15th at 11:00 AM at the Lighthouse Christian Church, 401 S. National Avenue, Fond du Lac with Pastor Godfrey Onwunili and Pastor Tim Carlton officiating with burial at the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday May 14th from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home , 305 Fond du Lac Avenue., Fond du Lac, and Thursday May 15th at church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
