Carl Anthony Kollmansberger

December 23, 1937 — September 5, 2014

Carl A. Kollmansberger, 76, of Eden, passed away Friday Sept. 5, 2014 at his home with his family gathered around him. He was born in Theresa on Dec. 23, 1937, the son of Clarence and Emily (nee Bernard) Kollmansberger. On September 29, 1962, Carl married Judith Immel at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee. Carl served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1962. He worked at Regalware in Kewaskum for 41 years. Carl was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee and American Legion Trier-Puddy Post #75 in Fond du Lac. Carl enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all camping with his family and the trips that he and Judy enjoyed together. He was also an avid Brewer and Packer fan. Survivors include his wife Judy, his children; Jeff (Lisa) Immel of Oakfield, Sharon (fiancee' Ken Steffen, Jr.) Matsche of Fond du Lac, Karen (Greg) Kilmer of Fond du Lac, Michael (Penny) Kollmansberger of Fond du Lac and Deborah (Robert) Gust of Eden, 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters Gordon Kollmansberger and Jean Kollmansberger both of Fresno, CA, James (Carol) Kollmansberger of Fond du Lac, Mary (Norman) Gau of Kewaskum and Betty (Richard) Schuster of Kewaskum, his pet bird Sassy, other relatives and friends. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, son Carl "Charlie" Kollmansberger, Jr., grandson Brenton Kollmansberger and his brothers Raymond and Clarence, Jr. Funeral services will be held Wed., Sept. 10th at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Dundee (W494 Elm St. Campbellsport), Rev. Robert Oberg will officiate and burial will follow in Rienzi Cemetery in Fond du Lac with military rites at the cemetery. Visitation will be Tues., Sept. 9th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac and on Wed., Sept. 10th from 10:00 AM until time of service at the Church.
