Leo P. "Pat" Patin, 87, passed away peacefully Monday Dec. 22, 2014 at Manorcare in Fond du Lac. He was born Nov. 24, 1927 in West Allis the son of Leo and Theresa (nee Griesemer) Patin. When he was 18, he moved to the farm in the Town of Osceola. On June 2, 1951, Leo married Marlene J. Hawley in Marysville, Kansas. Leo farmed in the Town of Osceola. He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church. Leo loved the outdoors, watching the birds, hunting, and fishing and was a great practical joker. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife Marlene, his son Mark (Patty) Patin, his daughters Lee Ann Fronczak, Marcy (Rick) Braatz and Therese (Michael) Thompson, his grandchildren Michael (Erika), Christopher, Andrew, Kurt, Tessa, Richard (Kristen), Jason (Sarah), Scott and Kayce, his step-grandchildren Nicole and Richard, his great grandchildren Addison, Madelyn, Mason, Emmitt, Eviania, Felicity and Kylie, his brothers Richard (Shirley) Patin and Donald Patin, his sister Bernadette Rosenbaum, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Leo was preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law Allen Fronczak. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sat. Dec. 27th at 12:00 Noon at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Rd. B, Eden. Rev. John Radetski will officiate and burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Armstrong. Memorials are appreciated to Heartland Hospice. Visitation will be Sat. Dec. 27th from 10:30 AM until time of mass at the church.
