Bernice M. Schroeter of Cedarburg passed away peacefully at Aurora Medical Center Grafton on Feb. 13, 2015 at the age of 80. Bernice was born on July 4, 1934 in Germantown the daughter of William and Lillian (nee Guetzke) Gildemeister. On Aug. 6, 1955, Bernice was united in marriage To Victor F. Schroeter at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg where Bernice was a lifelong member. She was a member of the Ladies' Aid at the church. Bernice enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bernice is survived by her children Gerald (the late Jan) Schroeter and Beatrice (Dennis) Schaefer; grandchildren John (Julie) Schroeter, Stephen (Vanessa) Schroeter, Brandon (Melanie) Schroeter and Daniel (Monica) Schaefer; great grandchildren Lukas Lee Schaefer, Jack, Corban, Aliyah, Decorah, Hazel, Kyrah, Zoey and Alaina Schroeter; sisters-in-law Viola Goessner and Kay Madisen, other relatives and many friends. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, her husband Victor on March 29, 2014 and eleven brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Feb 21st at 12:00 PM at the First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67N622 Evergreen Blvd Cedarburg. Rev. Wilmer Reichmann will officiate and burial will follow in Immanuel Cemetery, Cedarburg. Visitation will be Saturday Feb 21st from 10:00 to 11:45 AM at the CHURCH.
