Carol A. Wietor, 68 of South Byron passed away Wed. April 1, 2015 at her home after a short battle with cancer. She was born on November 30, 1946 in Hartford, the daughter of Elmer and Tillie Baierl Huettner. Carol graduated from Lomira High School in 1964. On Oct. 8, 1966 Carol married Ervin L Wietor Jr. at Immanuel Trinity Church in Fond du Lac. Carol worked for many years at the Beatrice Cheese Factory in Mayville. She enjoyed gardening and cooking but most important to her was spending time with her family. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughter Debbie (Todd) Stopen of Fond du Lac, her son Brian Wietor Sr. of Mayville, her five grandchildren Xavier, Brian Jr., Kristina, Stephanie and Nicole, one brother David (Karen) Huettner of Theresa, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ervin on June 21, 2014, and three brothers: Rueben, Merlin and Ralph. A visitation will be held Tues. April 7, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Twohig Funeral Home 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac with a memorial service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with inurnment to follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac.
