Jerome Ernest Weis,"Windy", age 78, native of Campbellsport, Wisconsin and resident of Loveland, Colorado, was called on by our Heavenly Father on August 30, 2014. He leaves his wife of 55 years, Beverley, four children, Denise, Raylene, Brenda, Raymond, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, his brother Michael (Sheila) Weis, his sisters Barbara (Eric) Falk, and Marjean Weis. Preceding him in death were his parents, Raymond George and Margaret Ruth Weis, his brother Lewis, and sister Eileen (Weis) Klein. He will be missed by many friends and neighbors. Jerry proudly and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy, enjoyed time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed bowling, playing cards and horseshoes, and was especially fond of gardening. He was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, as well as the Knights of Columbus. A memorial mass celebrating his life was held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton on September 6, 2014, in Fort Collins, Colorado, (cremation services by Allnut Funeral Home in Loveland, Colorado). A celebration mass will be held at St. Matthews Parish on Saturday, April 18, 2015, 10:00 a.m., followed by inurnment at St. Matthews Cemetery in Campbellsport. There will be no visitation prior to mass; the family will greet relatives and friends at a reception at the Campbellsport Community Center following the mass.
