Marian E. Johnson Anders, 88, of Fond du Lac formerly of Campbellsport went to her heavenly home on Wednesday May 20, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was born in the Town of Ashford on Aug. 13, 1926 the daughter of the late Arnold and Olive (nee Schrauth) Berg. On October 26, 1946, Marian married Richard "Dick" Johnson at St. Matthews Church in Campbellsport. Dick preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 1983. On Sept. 10, 1988, Marian married Harold Anders at St. Matthews Church. Harold preceded her in death on May 11, 1993. She operated Dick's Bar from 1955 to 1970 and Marian's Bar from 1985 to 1988. Marian also worked at the West Bend Comp, at Auburn Bluffs from 1988 to 2004 and was a volunteer at St. Agnes Hospital since 2007. She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church and the Fond du Lac Senior Center. She enjoyed playing sheepshead, casino trips, fishing, golfing but most of all watching her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's activities. Survivors include her children John (Kathy) Johnson of Fond du Lac and Joan (Al) Shafer of Fond du Lac, her step-children Mary (Richard) Runge of Eden, Carol Cornelius of DePere, Chris Anders of Racine, Julie (Gary) Schaefer of Fond du Lac, Rich (Sheryl) Anders of Campbellsport, John Anders of Campbellsport and Robert Anders of Fond du Lac, her grandchildren Ann (Brian) Olson, Jenny (Jayme) Hermanns, Betsy (Mike) Braun, Chad (Becky) Shafer and Katie (fiancé Brad) Shafer, her great grandchildren Evan, Claire, Carter, Gabe, Heath, Ally, Sid and Brayden, 10 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother Jack (Barb) Berg, her sister Lucille Posig, her sisters-in-law Rosemary Berg and Bertha Johnson, her brother-in-law Robert Johnson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Along with her husbands, Marian was preceded in death by her sisters Bernice (Linus) Beisbier and Kathleen (William) Otte, her brother William Berg and brother-in-law John Posig. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 22nd at 6:00 PM at St. Matthew's Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and entombment will be Saturday May 23rd at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until time of mass at the CHURCH. Memorials are appreciated to Agnesian Hospice Hope.
