Diane M. Sosinski, 62, of Fond du Lac went to her heavenly home on Friday Sept. 11, 2015 at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born in Fond du Lac on March 13, 1953, the daughter of Thomas and Marcella "Sis" (nee Goebel) Scannell. On May 13, 1978, Diane Married Charles E. Sosinski at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. She worked for the State of Wisconsin Corrections Dept. at the Central Pharmacy until recently retiring. Diane enjoyed knitting, crocheting, her gardens and watching Badger Football but most important to her was the time she spent with her family. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband Charles, her children James (Julie), Rebecca (Charles) Smith and Charles "C.J." (Loren), her grandchildren Brianna, Jonathan, Anthony and Samantha, her father Thomas (spec. friend Barb Michels), her brothers John (Carla) Scannell, Tom (Marie) Scannell and George (Ann) Scannell, her sisters Sandra (Bob) Schaefer, Linda (Pat) Lloyd, Mary (Steve) Gueller, Gail (Scott) Wustrack and Jennifer (John) Dilling, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her mother Marcella "Sis", her first husband James Lloyd, a granddaughter Isabella Smith and an infant brother Francis. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thur. Sept. 17th at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 Hwy B Eden. The Rev. John Radetski will officiate with cremation to follow and inurnment at Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac, at a later date. Visitation will be Wed. Sept. 16th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac and on Thur. Sept. 17th at the church from 10:00 AM until time of Mass.
