Donald J. Schuh, 76, of Campbellsport went home to his Lord on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at his home. He was born on May 7, 1939 in Sheboygan, the son of Arno and Alma (nee Graefe) Schuh. On January 5, 1963, Don married Jeanette Haeuser at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. He served in the U.S. Army, the 101st Airbourne Screaming Eagles, from 1956 to 1962 and serving in Korea from 1959 to 1960. Don worked at Mercury Marine from 1962 until retiring in 2005. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbellsport. Don loved to play sheepshead and loved his new John Deere lawn mower. He enjoyed his grandchildren and getting together for family birthdays and holidays. Don was awaiting his second great grandchild due in December. Those left behind include his wife of 52 years Jeanette, his daughter Lisa (Tim) Bresnyan of Fond du Lac and Vicki (Rob) Stone of Omro, his grandchildren Ashley (Mike Kraus) Dorzok, Kaitlyn Bresnyan, Taylor Bresnyan, Samantha Jurek, Emily Jurek and step-grandson Benjamin Stone, his great grandchildren Jonathan Kraus and Karlie Mae Kraus (due in December), his brothers Jerry (Judy) Schuh of West Bend and James (Sherry) Schuh of Waubeka, and his sisters Jean (Al) Leiter of Lomira and his twin Dorothy (Charles) Opitz of Baskin, LA. He is further survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Eldred (Darlene) Haeuser of West Bend, Kenneth Haeuser of Birmingham, AL, LeRoy (Lori) Haeuser of Mequon, Gordon (Sandra) Haeuser of West Bend, Glen (Linda) Haeuser of West Bend, Jean (Jerry) Eckert of Elkhart Lake and Joan (John) Daggett of St. Cloud, other relatives and friends. Don was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Robert Schuh and Rodney Schuh and sisters Phyllis Patelski and Jeanette Scherer Funeral services will be held on Friday October 30th at 3:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 350 S. Helena St. Campbellsport. Rev. Paul Cerny will officiate and interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport. Visitation will be Thursday October 29th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church and again on Friday October 30th from 2:00 PM until time of service at the Church.
