Charles L. Wilke, 75, of Campbellsport went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at his home with his loving family gathered around him. He was born June 4, 1940 in the Town of Wayne, the son of Henry W. and Evelyn (nee Breseman) Wilke. He was baptized at Salem UCC in Wayne and confirmed at St. Lucas Church in Kewaskum. On June 7, 1958, Charles married Kathleen A. Tulowitzky at Hope Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Charles and Kathleen married for 57 years raised a loving family; Charlie's family meant everything to him as it continued to grow. He worked at the Gehl Company for 26 years and then at Maysteel Corp. for 22 years as a quality manager before retiring. Chuck was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lomira, the Fond du Lac Artist Assoc. where he was feature artist in 2014, Plymouth Kettle Carvers, Wisconsin Muzzle Loading Assoc. and Empire Threshing Assoc. He had a passion for collecting items and his talent of creating something from nothing with his hands. His love for nature showed in his care for property with wild flowers, reforestation and raising and showing polled Herefords. Those left behind include his loving wife of 57 years Kathleen, his children Steven (Mabel) Wilke of Eden, Laurie Buske of Fish Creek, Jeffery (Stephanie) Wilke of Kiel, Gregory (Julie) Wilke of Campbellsport and Jon Paul (Beth) Wilke of Fond du Lac, his grandchildren Lee (Jennifer) and Peter (fiancée Amy Sniadajewski) Wilke, Clayton and Katelaine Buske, Alec and Austin Wilke, Gregor, Trevor, Tyler, Hope and Haley Wilke, Ethan and Jonah Wilke, his great grandchildren Sophia, Evelyn and Miles Wilke, his brothers Irvin (Ericka) Wilke and Gerald Wilke, his sister Vernette (Dan) Casey, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law Bryan Buske. Visitation will be Sunday November 1st from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport and on Monday November 2nd from 11:00 AM until time of services at St. John's Lutheran Church, 523 S. Water St. Lomira. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 2nd at 12:00 Noon at St. John's Lutheran Church, Lomira. Rev. Matthew Kiecker will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
