Ruth A. Krier, 90, of Fond du Lac died peacefully Saturday January 16, 2016 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born on March 9, 1925 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Albert and Martha (Rutowski) Tessner. Ruth worked as a customer service manager at Graphic Resources before retiring. She was an active member of Grace Christian Church and was involved with the missions and Ruby’s Pantry. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, jigsaw puzzles and bible study with her friends. She also traveled extensively in much of the United States, Hawaii and Scotland but most important to her was the time she spent with grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
Survivors include her grandsons Jeffrey (Susan) Mouthey, DuWayne (Cynthia) Mouthey and Terry (Chelsea) Mouthey, her great grandchildren Tyler, Elias, Angelica, Lucas and Evan Mouthey, other relatives and friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her children Judith Cutler, Douglas “Chuck” Dressler, Terry Robert Dressler, Jennifer Loth and Curtis Loth and her brother Robert Tessner.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Grace Christian Church, 1596 4th Street Fond du Lac with visitation starting at 2:00 PM until time of service Friday at the church. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery, Fond du Lac at a later date. Memorials are appreciated to Grace Christian Church.
The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff of the Hospice Home of Hope for the care and concern shown Ruth in her final days.
