William Frederick Wilhelme

William F. Wilhelme, 71, of Campbellsport passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 3, 2016 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. He was born in Oshkosh on Feb. 13, 1945, the son of the late Ward J. and Dorothy O. (Purdy) Wilhelme.  Late in 1976, he married Betty Burriss in Waukegan, IL. Bill worked for Johnson Bus Service in Campbellsport first as a mechanic and later as a driver.  Bill and Betty enjoyed camping reenactment, attending many rendezvous’ and their runaway weekends.  He was a great sportsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, trap shooting and many other sports.

Survivors include his wife Betty, his daughter Michelle Dziedic of Milwaukee, his brother Gerald (Evie) Wilhelme of Menasha, his sisters Barbara Hunsicker of Port Washington and Judith Haffner of Staffer, VA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday October 1st from 12:00 – 2:00 PM with a memorial service at 2:00 PM held at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport.  Cremation has taken place.
