Marion Pierquet, 85, of Dotyville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2016 at the St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac. Marion was born in Fond du Lac on April 6, 1931, the daughter of Fred and Alice (Leonard) Baganz. On August 23, 1952 she married Quintin Pierquet at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Dotyville. They farmed in the Town of Forest. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church and a former member of St. Michael’s Altar Society. Marion enjoyed bowling, counted cross stitch, playing Sheepshead and Euchre and watching the Packers. The most important to Marion was the time she could spend with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marion is survived by her sons; Mark (Pamela) of Mt. Calvary, James (Carolyn) of Fond du Lac, her daughters; Jacklynn (John) Flesch of Elkhardt Lake, Jill (Dan) Mayer of Eden, 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-laws: Marie Pierquet of Mt. Calvary and Mary Pierquet of Eden, She is further survived by brother-in-laws: Jerome (Mose) Pierquet and Robert Pasterski and sister-in-laws: Katie LaLuzerne, Shirley (Jim) Morgan, Loreen (Larry) Cumbers, Helen Pierquet and Delores Pierquet and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Quintin in August 2009 and three sons: Robert, Gary and David and many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, Sept 12th at 6:00 PM at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 Hwy B, Eden. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate and burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Dotyville on Tuesday, Sept. 13th at 10AM. Visitation will be at the church from 2:00 PM until time of Mass on Monday Sept. 12th. Memorials appreciated to ALS and Parkinson’s Disease.
