Violet June Loehr

Violet J. Loehr, 88, of Fond du Lac, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home.  She was born on June 7, 1928, the daughter of Clarence and Viola (Enders) Pfeifer.  On November 3, 1948 she married Robert A. Loehr. Together they lived and raised their family in the Dotyville area.  Violet enjoyed playing cards, bowling and reading but most important to her was the time she spent with her family.

Survivors include her children Dennis (Marcy) Loehr of Fond du Lac, Barbara (Alvin) Berres of Campbellsport and Pamela (Edward) Saiberlich of Fond du Lac, her grandchildren Lesley (Brian), Andrea, Brian (Nikki), Kevin (Heather), Jay (Heather), Cindy (Casey), Jonathan (Tiffany), Erin (Josh), Kayla (Dan) and Kristopher (Jillian), 16 great-grandchildren, her sisters Thelma (Jerome) Schaefer and Carol Vogds, sister-in-law Theresa Pfeifer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Vi was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, on November 1st, 1979, her brother Roland, many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 17th at 12:30 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave., Fond du Lac.  Reverend Mark Jones will officiate and burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Dotyville.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 17th from 10:30 AM until time of service at the Funeral Home.
