Maxine Marie Knaak

Maxine M. Knaak, 74, of Fond du Lac passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira.  She was born on May 15, 1943 in Wisconsin Rapids the daughter of Arthur H. and Hazel I. (Lingford) Tuxhorn.  On April 20, 1968, Maxine married Romaine Knaak. Maxine enjoyed word search and listening to country music mostly Faron Young. Most important to her was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son Chad Knaak of Fond du Lac, daughter Annette (Elwin) Jordan, grandchildren John Wright and Hannah Jordan, sister Audrey Faris, other relatives and friends.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Romaine on August 2, 1989, brother Leland Tuxhorn and sister Myrene Wojiewicz

A time of gathering will be on Saturday, June 3rd from Noon until 2:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac.  Inurnment in Estabrooks Cemetery will follow the gathering.
