John Francis Coakley

John F. Coakley, 82, of Campbellsport died Thursday, August 24, 2017 at his home with his family gathered around him. He was born In Menomonee, Michigan on June 12, 1935 the son of the late George and Jenny (Larson) Coakley. In December of 1959, he married Dolores A. Piaszak in Schiller Park, IL. John worked as a machinist at Orion Industries before retiring. He also wrote cookie recipes for the Current Newspaper. John enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, hunting, fishing, Sunday rides with Shirley but most of all spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his sons Brian (Christine) Coakley of Fillmore, Scott Coakley of West Bend, Ken Coakley of Lawrenceville, GA and Joseph (Irmgard) Coakley of Macomb, Michigan, grandchildren Nicholas, Angela, Jennifer and Tony, great grandchildren Ary, Nick, Nate, Ireland and Barrett, brother Kenneth (Shirley) Coakley, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores on August 12, 2006 and his son Donald Mueller.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 1st at 6:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and cremation will follow.
