Jerry P. Nehrbass, 79, of Campbellsport found peace in his Lord Jesus Christ Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his home with his wife, daughters and two furry friends at his side. He was born on February 12, 1938 in Cedarburg, the son of Peter J. and Dolores V. “Dolly” (Weiss) Nehrbass. Jerry served in the U. S. Navy from Feb. 28, 1955 until January 19, 1959 and then worked as a meat cutter at stores in West Bend and Richfield. He retired from the EST Company in 2003. On December 22, 2005, Jerry married Nancy A. Ostrander in Fond du Lac. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman, hiker and biker. Jerry was a great Packer, Brewer and Badger fan. He also enjoyed turning his lawn into a wonderful flower garden and walkway.
Survivors include his wife Nancy, daughters Kelley (Dan Brown) Ebert, Brenda (Scott) DeRuyter and Amanda (Adam) Bub, grandchildren Shannon, Chase, Heather, AJ, Ben, Claire, Annie and Jamie, great grandchildren Wesley and Charlotte, step children Tim Howell and Jessica Howell, mother-in-law Eleanor Ostrander, step grandchildren Gregory and Joe, siblings Janine (Richard) Stoffel, Joel (Linda) Nehrbass and Julianne (David) Witte, aunt Edyth Zastrow, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Robert Flasch, Carol Nehrbass, Sue and Keith Polster, Janet and Bill Zingsheim, Karen and Dave Jungmann and William and Traci Ostrander, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry is also survived by his special companions Peanut and Putz.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, sister Janet Flasch, brother James Nehrbass, nephew Jamie Nehrbass, step son Gregory Howell, Jr, father-in-law Leslie Ostrander and his companion Laddie.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 30th from 12:00 Noon with a memorial service at 3:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport.
